SnapDollars is a get paid to take surveys, sign up for free trials and play games for money...
BUT you have to have a credit card and you have to remember to cancel the free trial.
So I tried it out and found it's basically survey loops to sign your e-mail address up for more sites and trials.
To me it is a waste of valuable time and energy but if you want to try it out and you have the patience (which I lack!) then here is a link:

There are many sites that promise you can make a million dollars a month.
Well, anyone with common sense KNOWS you cannot make a million dollars in a month unless you are a famous actor, musician or something of that nature.
Besides with these get rich quick schemes you usually have to pay to work.
DON'T.
You do not have to pay to work!!
Don't even pay for a freelance membership.
Save your money and find something that is free of charge.
You should also visit RipOffReport.com and research.
Do your homework and save your valuable time and energy.
DO not give away your credit card OR banking account number UNLESS it is on a reputable site to BE PAID such as PayPal.

I want to know how much money you have made working from home and in what time period.
I am hoping to encourage the discouraged and help them get back on the wagon.
A friend of mine has been working on a freelance site for about three months and has only gotten one job.
What tips do you have to give her to boost her earnings and job offers?
Anything is helpful!

GE Work At Home Customer Service Part-Time

I recently had an interview with GE for the part time home based CSR.
The interview was over the telephone and lasted about 20 minutes tops.
The guy basically asked me questions like "Have you ever had an unsatisfied customer and what did you do to resolve the issue?"
It was short and sweet.
The only bad thing is you have to go on-site for training which is four weeks long.
For me this training is in Tempe, AZ.
Not going to work for more because I have three children to care for and no one to watch them for a month (Wouldn't that be nice though!).
The application is a little on the long side but pay is awesome starting out at 12.75 per hour! WOO!

Vindale Research

I signed up for Vindale about two months ago.
Vindale is basically a paid survey site.
But most of the surveys are paid trials which you have to use your credit card information for.
For example.. if you sign up for Netflix.com then you can get money back from Vindale.. possibly 10.00.
A really great offer which I completed was sign up for a Discover Card and earn 35.00!
Not bad huh!
The you also get 5.00 when you refer someone and 10.00 just to sign up.
Pay is twice a month and I believe minumum payout is 25.00.
The downside of this site is you really have to have a credit card to do high paying surveys.
And for most of them you have to send Vindale a proof confirmation that you actually completed the survey.

Caution using Craigslist!!!

So I found this AWESOME job on craigslist!!
It was a proofreading job for a 90 page book on child and baby care. How great!! I was really excited to start this job and the pay was amazing.. 1,000.00!
Ok so the guy tells me that he is sending me payment.. I get a check through UPS for 3,000.00
Whoa, I wasn't expecting this much.
So I write him and let him know and he says thank you for your honesty I know it was for 3,000 because you have to forward 2,000 in publishing fees to the publisher.
Wait..
This does not sound right.
So I go to cash the check and I notice that it says 1800-Contacts on it.
So I call them.. of course payroll was closed.
So then I call the bank and speak with the CSR.
I leave a message with the president of the bank and she calls me the next morning.
Turns out the check was fake.
It looked so REAL!
She said someone had stolen their bank account information and they were filing a law-suit.
I was really dissapointed because I thought this was my first REAL money making job and it sounded like it would be really fun.
I also had BILLS to pay and did not look for more work at that time because I had that job lined up.
So I have to send this 3,000.00 check to Utah. =(
Just be careful.
If someone sends you payment before you have even done the job you know that cannot be right.
IMMIDIATELY contact the bank on the check and let them know what is going on.
If you do cash it you will have to pay every penny back and could go to jail.

This guys name was Mohd Ibrihim so if you see any posting with this then do not contact him for a job.

Amazon Mechanical Turks

I have also been working for Amazon Mechanical Turks.
On this site you pick HIT's that you want to work on.
These range from write a 500 word article to join a web-site and post some answers.
Some of these are fake hits so you have to be careful.
Anything with a time limit of 5 minutes or under DO NOT do because it will not let you complete the HIT and your value will go down.
You have to report it as soon as you see one.
There are also transcripting jobs that you can do.. but these can be tedious and for little money.
But then again you can get a job transcribing something for 15.00 and it will only take about an hour an a half depending on your typing speed.
I have done 32 hits and have made 36.00.. now keep in mind that some of these hits were for only .10 cents a piece.
You can chose to either send your money to Amazon.com to use for items or you can have it put into your bank account or paypal account.

Well Elance was deftly unsuccessful.
There is a LOT of competition from other countries.
I did manage to get one job which was article rewriting out of Getafreelancer.com... for computer networks.
Now I am no computer networker so I found it pretty much impossible to rewrite an article about networking with 100% my content. And it was only for .75 cents per article for 500 words.
SO I told the person I would only be able to do articles that I knew something about.
Like kids! lol
So I think Getafreelancer.com is a pretty good site, but once again the competition is very very high and can be really discouraging.
But if you keep at it then you could probably make some decent money.
Getafreelancer is free but you only get 15 contacts per month.. or bid whichever you prefer.
Use them wisely.
On this site the "employer" will also rate your work so do your very best or it will ruin your rep.
You also get to take free tests on your qualifications like a typing test, creative writing test, microsoft word etc.

So I ran across this site called Livework.com which I think is totally awesome.
I applied for a job and almost immidiately got a job answering queries for Dictionary.com.
It is kind of like YahooAnswers.. you answer a question or a query with 5 sentences and include a link.
The pay is .68 cents per post and generally takes about 10 minutes to gather all the information you need.
I made 70.00 doing this and it only took a week.
The downside is it can be time consuming and you have to answer at least 100 questions and you only have a certain amount of time to finish the queries.
Also, if they are not up to par you will have to redo them or you will not get paid for them.

My first post YAY!
I started this because I am on a quest to find REAL jobs as a ghostwriter, copywriter, whatever a writer.
I'm broke and I just got fired from my *real* job.
I needed a way to make money and make it fast.
So I've been thinking... a lot of people want to work from home for some reason or another.
Mine is to keep a roof over my head and food in my kids bellies.

So day one:
Here is what I have accomplished.

I signed up for Elance.com but then read a LOT of really negative reviews about this site and decided it was not worth my effort.
So then I applied or more like signed up at GetAFreelancer.com
The jobs seem decent.. you get to place 15 bids per month. A bid is like an application but where you sell yourself basically to the employer.
Some are really well paid, so I signed up for 3 of them and we will see what happens.
